Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties
- Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients.
- Supporting the cleaning of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to maintain a safe and tidy workspace.
- Restocking supplies and ensuring all necessary items are readily available for service.
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Supporting the overall organisation of the kitchen environment to facilitate efficient workflow during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is needed and training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, or culinary processes is advantageous.
- A good understanding of hygiene standards within a professional kitchen setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality sector.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
