Annual Salary £27,981 to £32,407 depending on Skills and Qualifications.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Animal Management to join our supportive team at Riseholme College. Alongside delivering engaging teaching, learning and assessment, you will act as a Group Tutor, providing academic and pastoral support to a designated group of students and helping them achieve their full potential.
You could currently be working as an Animal Management Lecturer, Trainer, Veterinary Nurse, Animal Welfare Officer, Animal Technician or within another animal-related role. You will bring relevant industry experience, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
You will hold a relevant qualification or degree in Animal Management, Animal Science, Zoology, Veterinary Nursing, Bioscience, or Animal Behaviour and Welfare. Teaching or training experience is essential; however, if you do not already hold a teaching qualification, we will support you to achieve one.
You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons and practical activities, assess students’ work and monitor their progress. As a Group Tutor, you will provide ongoing guidance, support positive behaviour and act as a key point of contact for students and their families.
Based at Riseholme College, you will work within our growing Animal Management department. Our specialist facilities, animal units and wide variety of species provide an engaging environment where students can develop practical, industry-relevant skills.
