BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist
Part-time | Self-employed contractor | In-person
Physio & More is a growing multi-disciplinary clinic in Kingston upon Thames, and we are looking for a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist to join us on a self-employed, part-time basis.
This is a new service line within the clinic, so the role would suit a therapist who is excited by the opportunity to help build a CBT offering within an established private healthcare setting. Initial referrals are expected to come from internal clinic referrals and clinic-led marketing, with scope to grow over time. Candidates who already have an existing client base are also welcome.
You will work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, supporting patients who may be experiencing:
- Anxiety and stress
- Low mood
- Health anxiety
- Sleep issues
- Chronic pain-related distress
- Psychological barriers affecting recovery and wellbeing
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person CBT assessments and treatment sessions
- Create structured, patient-centred treatment plans
- Maintain clear and professional clinical notes
- Work collaboratively with the wider clinic team
- Support the development of the CBT service within the clinic
Essential requirements
- BABCP accreditation
- Relevant CBT qualifications and clinical experience
- Ability to work independently as a self-employed practitioner
- Excellent communication and note-writing skills
- In-person availability in Kingston upon Thames
Desirable
- Experience working with chronic pain, injury recovery, or long-term health conditions
- Experience in private practice
- Existing client base
- Interest in workshops, education, or wider wellbeing services
