Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and ensuring excellent customer service. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and health & safety regulations
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Manage cash register operations, handle payments efficiently, and provide correct change
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible service of alcohol policies
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience, creating a welcoming environment
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote safety and responsible drinking
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments, ideally within a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Effective time management to ensure timely service delivery
- Friendly personality with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of customer care
