Overview
Welder / Fabricator – Subcontractor Basis
We are currently looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team on a subcontractor basis.
The ideal candidate will have previous welding and fabrication experience, be able to work independently, and maintain a high standard of workmanship at all times.
The role will involve carrying out general welding and fabrication tasks on a daily basis, including:
- Fitting lock boxes
- Welding doors and door handles
- Repairing window vents
- General welding and fabrication tasks on a day-to-day basis with coded qualification.
The majority of work will be carried out on HMP sites, local and London including surrounding counties. Work also to be encountered at the G & P workshop in Rushenden, Sheerness Kent carrying out pre installation projects before they are sent to the finishers and then on to site.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday – 39 hours per week, in line with site start times, break periods, and finish times.
Employment Type:
Subcontractor basis
Pay rate to be discussed and agreed based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sheerness (Kent)
