St Nicholas Care Home is a specialist multi-service facility, registered with the Care Quality Commission, to provide care and support to individuals with a wide range of support needs.
Located in Bootle and nestled within its own sanctuary of over 5 acres of beautiful gardens, St Nicholas is divided into six separate houses with emphasis on providing different types and levels of support, dependent upon the needs of the individuals.
Coniston is an area of the Village for 30 residents providing general nursing and palliative care for individuals with complex physical health needs set within outstanding gardens and courtyards within a wooded perimeter which allow residents to embrace and benefit from a true connection with nature.
We are seeking to grow the team with the addition of an ambitious and dedicated RMN with extensive experience in leadership and management, to take on the role of House Manager in Coniston house at St Nicholas. The post holder will influence, direct and lead the delivery of all actions required to meet the Principles, Philosophies and values of the Organisation.
The successful candidate will take responsibility and lead on a house supporting individuals to achieve their desired outcomes whilst receiving the best possible care. Although working under the guidance and support of a very experienced Registered Manager, the successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running in a busy and complex environment. They will take responsibility for the management of the house, delegating responsibility and accountability where appropriate.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- A balanced and considered approach where the interests of our residents always come first.
- An understanding and experience of creating positive relationships with our partner agencies.
- High-level communication skills.
- Ability to be self-motivated with good planning and organisational skills.
- Able to work as part of a dedicated team to try to develop and improve the services we provide.
In addition, this role will have a focus around the clinical governance of the service. This Will Include But Is Not Exhaustive:
- Supporting the delivery of an integrated approach to patient care across all professions.
- Identifying and addressing areas of clinical development across the service
- Providing training from their own area of expertise.
- Oversee and coordinate clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for patients/residents.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor and improve the quality of care provided.
- Have understanding of Continuing Healthcare process
The salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
