About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse / Production Operative to join our team. This role involves supporting day-to-day warehouse and production operations, ensuring goods are handled, packed, processed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will be punctual, practical, and comfortable working as part of a busy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Checking goods in and out
- Supporting production and assembly tasks
- Operating basic warehouse or production equipment, where required
- Keeping the warehouse and production areas clean, tidy, and safe
- Carrying out quality checks on products
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Working with supervisors and team members to meet daily targets
- Reporting any stock issues, damages, or equipment faults
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, production, manufacturing, or operative experience is preferred but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to work on your feet and carry out manual handling tasks
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
