Job Summary
With proven experience in the installation of electronic security systems, structured cabling, electrical installations and electromechanical installations.
With a minimum of one to two years of proven experience in the field and all documentation in order.
Preference will be given to candidates with teamwork skills, ability to travel within the country, willingness to work overtime, good interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic and discipline.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed schematics and system layouts using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Assist in the creation and review of electrical and mechanical system designs, ensuring compliance with GD&T standards and fabrication requirements.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) using languages like C, C++, Python, MATLAB, and other relevant tools to automate processes and enhance system functionality.
- Conduct root cause analysis on system failures or malfunctions to identify issues efficiently and implement corrective actions.
- Support system maintenance by performing debugging, calibration, and preventive upkeep to ensure optimal operation of electronic components.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on product development projects involving system engineering principles and mechanical knowledge.
- Prepare technical documentation including schematics, system specifications, fabrication instructions, and test reports to facilitate seamless communication across teams.
Experience
- Proven experience in electrical engineering or systems technology with a strong background in electronics troubleshooting, system design, and product development.
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks for designing electrical or mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages including C, C++, Python, MATLAB for automation and control applications.
- Construction experience is preferred to understand practical implementation aspects of systems in real-world environments.
- Knowledge of schematics interpretation, GD&T standards, fabrication processes, and maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and debugging on complex electronic or mechanical systems.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by skills in fabrication techniques and material considerations for prototype development.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
