The Oiler is responsible to the Second Engineer for:
- Assisting with the maintenance of all machinery, technical equipment, plant etc., as instructed by an Engineer Officer
- General cleaning, housekeeping duties as instructed by an Engineer Officer
- Adopting safe working practices
- Undertaking any other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer and/or Second Engineer
The job requires:
- Good team working skills
- Ability to perform tasks in an orderly way
