Contamac manufacture polymers for contact and intraocular lenses (used in cataract surgery) and are based in Saffron Walden.
We are recruiting for Production Operators to carry out the manufacture of production batches following our standard operating procedures. This involves mixing and blending of chemicals, as well as operating certain machinery. Although full training is given, experience of working in a controlled production environment is beneficial. Previous work with chemicals, polymers or adhesives would be an advantage, but not essential.
You must be reliable, eager to learn, enthusiastic, physically fit (due to some heavy lifting) and a strong team player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
Local to Saffron Walden (< 45 min commute, as the role is onsite daily).
