Workshop Labourer – Joinery Workshop
Location: Romford, Essex
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Workshop Labourer to join our busy joinery workshop in Romford.
This is a hands-on role supporting our workshop team and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Keeping the workshop clean, tidy and organised
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Receiving and checking deliveries
- Moving materials and finished products around the workshop
- Disposing of waste and maintaining safe working areas
- Supporting joiners and workshop staff as required
- General labouring and housekeeping duties
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving materials safely
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Previous workshop, warehouse or labouring experience is desirable but not essential
Desirable Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Forklift Truck Licence (preferred but not essential)
