Food Production Assistant – Arancini Production
Arancino Of Sicily is looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our food production team.
We produce handmade arancini and other Italian food products from our production kitchen. The role is hands-on and would suit someone with some basic cooking knowledge, good hygiene standards, and a willingness to learn.
This is an hourly paid role, with the possibility of developing into a full-time permanent position for the right person. There may also be the opportunity to grow into a more senior or supervisory role in the future.
Working hours
Tuesday to Saturday
9:00am to 6:00pm
1 hour unpaid break
Some flexibility with working hours may be required depending on production needs.
Main duties will include:
Preparing ingredients and basic food items
Cooking, assembling, coating and packing products
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Cleaning equipment, work surfaces and production areas
Following food safety procedures
Assisting with stock, deliveries and general kitchen duties
Working as part of a small production team
Helping ensure products are made consistently and to a high standard
Requirements
Basic cooking knowledge or previous kitchen/food production experience
Basic Food Hygiene certificate required
Good understanding of cleanliness and food safety
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work on your feet in a busy production environment
Flexible with hours when needed
Good attention to detail
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
