In this role, you will:

Manage your own varied regulatory caseload from start to finish

Advise professional and commercial clients on complex legal issues

Draft clear, practical legal advice, documents, and correspondence

Prepare cases for hearings and represent clients at meetings and proceedings

Work closely with Counsel, experts, and internal teams
-
Handle regulatory investigations, enforcement action, and appeals

Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures

Build strong client relationships and support business development activity

Maintain high standards of client care and professional conduct
We’re looking for someone who can bring confidence, clarity, and strong judgement to their work, particularly when managing sensitive or high-pressure cases.
You will ideally have:

Qualified Solicitor status with a current practising certificate

Experience in regulatory law, or transferable experience from criminal or commercial law

Strong drafting, analytical, and organisational skills
-
A solid understanding of professional conduct and legal procedure
-
A proactive, commercially aware, and solutions-focused approach

Confidence managing competing priorities and a busy caseload
