Smart Group are looking for a full time Lettings Consultant to join our talented team. Lettings are at the heart of our business. As Lettings Consultant, your role is to help deliver high-quality property management, working closely with our Head of Lettings and the wider lettings team. As a Lettings Consultant at Smart Group, your role would be diverse and varied, both desk and field based, and centred around growing and retaining our property portfolio. This is a great opportunity to join a small team and make a big impact.
Key skills required:
- Proven experience in lettings, with a track record of hitting targets
- A confident and professional telephone manner at all times
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Conscientious with minute attention to detail
- Good organisational and multi-tasking skills and a real desire to ‘get things done’
- Fully IT literate and comfortable using CRM systems (experience with Street is an advantage)
- ARLA Propertymark qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
Key Lettings Consultant responsibilities:
- Arrange, conduct and follow up viewings for lettings
- Qualify applicants; maintain and update the Street database accurately
- Manage landlord and tenant relationships; support applicants through referencing, contracts and move-in/move-out procedures
- Negotiate offers and progress lettings through to completion in line with company procedures
- Conduct mid-term inspections and property checks as required
- Answer customer enquiries by phone, email and in person in a professional manner
- Record all call and email interactions accurately in the CRM
- Support general office administration and contribute to team targets and marketing activity
- Keep track of enquiry statistics for certain clients and produce weekly reporting to the Head of Lettings
- Input feedback into our CRM system on a daily basis for each individual viewing
- Perform any other duties which from time to time may be required to ensure the smooth running of the business
Pay: £25,550.00-£28,000.00 per year
