We are looking for an experienced and professional Dual Skilled Lift & Escalator Engineer to join our airport maintenance team based at Stansted Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment maintaining essential passenger transport equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding, repairs and breakdown response on a wide range of lifts and escalators. Occasional travel to Luton Airport will be required to support operational needs.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering.
- NVQ qualification in Escalator Engineering.
- Proven experience servicing, maintaining and repairing both lifts and escalators.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of current industry standards and health & safety regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must live within a 40-mile commuting distance of Stansted Airport.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on lifts and escalators.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
- Complete all service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety and industry regulations.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with airport personnel and clients.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Provide occasional engineering support at Luton Airport when required.

Shift Pattern
- 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern. 12 hour shift pattern (06:00AM - 18:00PM / 18:00PM - 06:00AM)
- Alternating day and night shifts.
