We are currently recruiting a Shunter/Forklift Driver, to assist with the operations in the factory, working within a team and enjoying a busy fast-paced environment, this could be the position for you!
The Role
· Moving products in the factory/site with accuracy and ready for distribution
- Keeping the warehouse area clean and tidy and following health and safety guidelines and procedures;
- Shunting articulated trailers around the yard and onto loading / unloading bays
- Collection of products as per required
- Loading and unloading vehicles;
- Completing safety assessments
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers
- General factory duties;
- Hand offloading;
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
- Adhering to Site Safety Rules and setting Safety standards.
- Always being health and safety aware;
Essential Requirements:
- To be able to work in busy fast-paced environment
- Forklift Licence (Refreshed in the last 3 years);
- Essential to follow and comply with Company’s health and safety rules;
- Team player and to be able to work independently and on initiative
- Good communication skills;
- Valid and clean UK Driving licence
Desirable Requirements
Previous experience in a factory/warehouse environment would be advantageous
Full training will be given to the successful candidate
The position is fully on site due to the nature and requirements of the role, working hours are:
Monday to Thursday 08.00am – 5.30pm
Friday 08.00am – 1.00pm
Due to the demands of the business flexibility will be required.
