We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer (PHP / React) who can take ownership of our core application architectures. Key Responsibilities:
- System Architecture & Ownership: Build, maintain, and optimize robust PHP back-end services and RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and data security across our digital platforms.
- End-to-End Development: Lead feature delivery from initial data modeling and server logic to high-fidelity, interactive React front-end components.
- Code Quality & Review: Participate in regular code reviews, offering constructive feedback that elevates the team’s overall output, security practices, and maintainability.
- Database & Performance Optimization: Write efficient MySQL/PostgreSQL queries, profile performance bottlenecks, and keep application load times lightning fast.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UI/UX designers, project managers, and client stakeholders to convert technical specifications into smooth, reliable user experiences.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development with deep proficiency in both PHP and React.js.
- Technical Mastery: Strong command of modern PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or custom frameworks), JavaScript (ES6+), React hooks, HTML5, CSS3, and relational databases.
- Tooling: You are fluent with Git workflows, package managers (Composer, npm/yarn), and API testing tools (Postman).
- Communication Skills: Clear written and spoken English is essential for participating in technical discussions, documentation, and agile standups.
- Mindset: You are pragmatic. You know when to push for architectural perfection and when to ship a high-quality MVP to meet business deadlines.
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
