Job Title: General Operative
Reports to: Site Manager
Location: Ballymena
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week
All levels of general operatives required to carry out general construction operations including groundworks, pipe laying, kerbing & paving as required for commercial construction sites.
With varied site locations & works it is essential that you are able to work as part of a motivated team and be flexible if at times the project requires duties outside your role. You will be required to fulfill work related training as part of our commitment to health & safety on all sites.
ESSENTIAL
- Assisting in the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up materials.
- Operating construction equipment and machinery under supervision.
- Carrying out general labour tasks, including digging, lifting, and moving materials.
- Assisting in the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and reporting any safety hazards.
- Collaborating with the construction team to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Perform the job role in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as required and deemed within your competence.
DESIRABLE
- Ability to operate plant equipment
- Clean driver’s licence

- Ability to work unsupervised, individually and as part of a team
- Good time management skills
