About Us
Satollo is a much-loved Italian eatery and delicatessen in the heart of Marlow, known for great food, quality drinks, and warm hospitality. We're looking for a skilled Waiter / Barista to join our front-of-house team and deliver an excellent guest experience from the first coffee to the last course.
The Role
You'll split your time between the floor and the bar, taking care of tables and preparing high-quality coffees to order. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role in a busy environment, so pace, polish, and attention to detail all matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based coffees to a high, consistent standard
- Take orders and provide attentive, professional table service
- Deliver a warm, high-level customer experience, even during busy periods
- Set up and maintain the bar and dining areas to a high standard
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar team for smooth, timely service
- Handle payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures
- Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety standards at all times
- Support with stock rotation and replenishment as needed
What We're Looking For
- Able to make coffees to a high standard
- Experience serving high-level customers in a busy hospitality environment
- Strong communication skills and a genuinely warm, professional manner
- Ability to stay calm, organised, and efficient under pressure
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Good knowledge of Italian Cuisine is essential
