Duties
- Prepare a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
- Follow established recipes and portion controls to ensure uniformity across all dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist in meal preparation during busy service hours, supporting the team to deliver timely service
- Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste
- Serve prepared dishes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction and quality assurance
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurant or hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Previous experience in meal preparation for large groups or restaurant service is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests and supporting colleagues
Pay: £13.80 per hour
