Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and proactive General Handyman/woman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment across our premises. This role requires a practical individual with a broad skill set, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, as well as supervisory capabilities. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and leadership qualities to ensure smooth operations and a safe working environment.
The role will involves travelling to properties in the North East of England, a van is provided and a drivers license is required.
Duties
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues at rental properties on behalf of landlord
- Plumbing essentials
- Woodwork skills required
- Assist in the installation of new equipment as required
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles with a broad skill
- Drivers license
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
