Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Complex Needs Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to Adults with complex needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans in collaboration with relevant professionals and families
- Support Adults during daily activities, including personal care, play, education, and socialisation
- Maintain accurate records of progress and incidents, adhering to organisational policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with Adults, families, colleagues, and external agencies to coordinate care and support strategies
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to minimise risks within the care setting
Qualifications
- Experience working with Adults, particularly those with special or complex needs
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely for work-related duties
- Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with adults
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Compassionate attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Relevant qualifications or training in childcare or support work are desirable but not essential; willingness to undertake further training is encouraged
