Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our dental practice.
Initially a Fridays clinics with opportunities to expand hours to Mondays and Wednesdays
Clinic hours: 07:45 - 1200 and 13:00 - 17:00 daily
The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality preventative and therapeutic dental care, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your clinical skills within a supportive team environment. The role involves working closely with patients to promote oral health, perform routine cleanings, and assist with various dental procedures, all while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and develop personalised treatment plans for patients.
- Perform professional teeth cleaning procedures, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar build-up.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary advice, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in dental technology, including anatomy knowledge relevant to oral health.
Requirements
- GDC registration
- Excellent communication skills with an empathetic approach towards patients of all ages.
- Knowledge of CAD software and medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and patient confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work within scheduled hours, adhering to practice policies on infection control and safety protocols.
Pay: £37.00 per hour
