JCL Glass is a growing supplier of high-quality glass products, known for excellent service, fast turnaround times, and high manufacturing standards. We are looking for an experienced Glass Cutter to join our production team in Aylesbury.
The Role
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment. You will be responsible for accurately cutting and processing glass to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut and shape glass accurately using an automated cutting table
- Hand cutting glass when required (essential)
- Read and work from production specifications
- Organise workload effectively to meet production and delivery deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Glass Cutter is essential
- Confident using automated cutting equipment
- Strong hand-cutting ability
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn
- Strong organisational and time management skills
