Worldwide Aviation & Tourism Ltd, the UK General Sales Agent for Gulf Air, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Reservations & Groups Agent to join our London office in Brentford.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with airline reservations and ticketing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment and delivering excellent service to both direct passengers and travel trade partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle group sales and reservations for Gulf Air services.
- Take reservation calls from direct passengers, travel agents, and tour operators.
- Create, amend, and manage airline bookings, including ticket issuance, reissuance, upgrades, reroutes, and EMDs.
- Process invoices and payments in line with airline and company reporting procedures.
- Prepare and maintain daily and monthly sales reports and reconciliations.
- Assist with route analysis and commercial reporting data.
- Provide high-quality customer service over the phone and occasionally face-to-face.
- Resolve ticketing and reservation issues efficiently and professionally.
The role includes airline reservations, ticketing, reporting, and customer service responsibilities. Sabre GDS experience is required.
Skills & Experience RequiredEssential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an airline reservations or ticketing role
- Sabre GDS knowledge and practical ticketing experience
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent numerical and administrative skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable
- Knowledge of airline fares and ticketing
- Experience with DDS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
