Overview:
Springfit has been running classes for over 20 years, providing an inclusive, educational and enjoyable experience for all our members from age 2 to adults. We are passionate about developing skills, regardless of ability, background or age. Our Gymnastics classes run from Preschool and Foundation level through to advanced and squad classes, with in-house and external competition programmes.
We are seeking a passionate Head Coach to join our existing team. As a Springfit Head Coach, you will have the opportunity to deliver classes and inspire other coaches as well as class members across a range of ages and skill levels. Responsibilities:
- Organise, deliver and supervise classes alongside your team.
- Teach fundamental skills, activities, and techniques related to Gymnastics.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help members thrive in their sport.
- Maintain assessments and customer feedback.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during classes.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
Qualifications:
- British Gymnastics / IGA / NRG Level 2 or other equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate members.
- Ability to adapt coaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for sports coaching.
- An enhanced DBS check is required for this role (we can provide this).
Engagement and Pay
- Coaches operate on a self-employed/freelance basis
- Pay rates are banded according to qualification
- Qualified Head Coaches start at £18.50ph
