We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Evening Cleaner to help maintain our beautiful venue to the highest standard.
The Role
As part of our cleaning team, you’ll ensure that The Grove is spotless and ready for the next event. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a well-presented environment, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning event suites, reception areas and guest facilities
- Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
- Cleaning toilets and replenishing consumables
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Cleaning tables, chairs and venue furniture
- Ensuring kitchens and staff areas are kept clean and hygienic
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damage
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider venue team when required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and busy event periods
- Takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards
Working Hours
Hours will vary depending on events but will generally be during the evening, including weekends.
Typical shifts:
- 6:00pm – 10:00pm
- 7:00pm – 11:00pm
- Additional hours may be available during peak periods.
