About Us: Twist is Plymouth's only Board Game Cafe & Bar. Serving great food and craft drinks alongside a library of 600+ board games. We're open from 11am until midnight, perfect for good times any time of day.
As part of our Back of House team, you’ll be making and serving our delicious food, carrying out food prep, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and washing dishes.
We're a small team, so you'll need to be able to work solo, use your initiative, and help out other team members (for example covering the bar for short breaks).
To join our Back of House Team you will need to have:
- Experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
- An understanding of good customer service and the importance of the kitchen in delivering it.
- A passion to give each customer an exciting and memorable experience.
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to build good relationships with colleagues.
- Excellent teamwork skills and be supportive of your colleagues by being flexible and working together.
- The ability to work in a busy environment, multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
- Great listening skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- The ability to work under own initiative and take responsibility for your duties.
- A passion for food and drink.
