This is a hands‑on accounts support role ideal for someone who is organised, accurate, and confident working within a regulated property environment. You will work closely with the Property Managers and Lettings team to ensure financial records are maintained to audit‑ready standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily bookkeeping and financial administration across blocks and lettings
- Posting invoices, receipts, payments, and supplier bills
- Bank reconciliations for client accounts and office accounts
- Monitoring arrears and preparing arrears reports
- Preparing landlord statements and tenant account summaries
- Assisting with service charge budget tracking and year‑end preparation
- Maintaining accurate ledgers and audit trails
- Liaising with suppliers, landlords, and leaseholders regarding account queries
- Supporting the team with ad‑hoc financial tasks as required
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration (property sector preferred but not essential)
- Strong understanding of double‑entry bookkeeping
- Confident using accounting software
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple blocks
- Strong communication skills and a professional, calm manner
- Understanding of client money handling (desirable)
- Experience with service charge accounting (advantageous but training can be provided)
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
