Summary:
We are looking for multiple first contact practitioners to provide specialist MSK physiotherapy assessment and treatment in a mixture of clinic-based settings, working as an autonomous practitioner and working in GP surgeries/primary care networks as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. You will also assist with service development and training programs.
Why Join Us?
Are you an experienced MSK Physiotherapist looking for an impactful, autonomous FCP role without the daily hassle of commuting into central London?
We are expanding our team across Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries in London, Kent, Sussex and Essex. Joining us means becoming a vital partner in the local healthcare community—delivering top-tier patient care close to home with dedicated mentoring, clear career growth, and strong team support.
Important Eligibility Notice:
Candidates must already hold full Right to Work in the UK and current HCPC registration. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Local candidates or those with an easy local commute are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Role
As a First Contact Practitioner (FCP), you will work at GP practices and local NHS clinic settings. You’ll manage your own caseload, providing rapid, evidence-based assessment and triage for complex MSK conditions.
· Autonomous First Contact: Triage and assess patients face-to-face and virtually without prior GP referral.
· Diagnostics & Interventions: Order and interpret investigations (X-rays, MRIs, bloods) and deliver advanced clinical interventions (such as injection therapy or Non-Medical Prescribing, where qualified).
· Collaborative MDT Working: Work side-by-side with GPs, local healthcare teams, and senior physiotherapy mentors.
· Service & Skill Development: Participate in service improvement projects, internal training, and continuous professional development (CPD).
What We Are Looking For
· Essential: Full HCPC Registration and established Right to Work in the UK without the need for Sponsorship
· Experience: Minimum 1 year of dedicated MSK experience (FCP/Primary Care experience highly preferred).
· Local Commute: Based in Kent/London
· A UK driving license is preferred.
· Clinical Excellence: Confident in autonomous clinical decision-making, red-flag recognition, and holistic biopsychosocial care.
Key Benefits & Perks
· Training Funding for Non-Medical Prescribing and Injection Therapy.
· Balanced Local Commute: On-site parking available at local GP surgeries and clinics.
· Generous Leave: Extra annual leave rewards for long service (up to 7 additional days).
· Comprehensive Healthcare: Private dental, optical, and mental health check-ups (up to £250 value).
· 24/7 EAP Support: Complete Employee Assistance Program for you and your family.
· Professional Growth: Dedicated personal mentorship, leadership development, and structured CPD.
· Team Culture & Rewards: Employee of the Month/Year awards, gift vouchers, regular social events, and a £150 employee referral bonus.
