Responsibilities
- Lead food production and preparation for takeaway orders, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, stock rotation, and cleanliness standards
- Oversee food presentation and ensure all meals are served promptly and accurately to meet customer expectations
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow, improve efficiency, and uphold a positive work environment
- Enforce food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health department standards
- Assist with cooking tasks as needed, demonstrating culinary expertise and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a busy kitchen or restaurant environment
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Extensive kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth operations
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and service
