Hours: part-time variable
Hourly rate: £26.51 (unqualified)* or £27.68 (qualified)* inclusive of holiday pay.
Plus, membership of Teachers’ Pension Scheme.
- the base hourly rate is £17.10 (unqualified) / £17.86 (qualified) per hour, plus payment for holiday and preparation and marking time, which gives an approximate hourly rate of £26.51 (unqualified) / £27.68 (qualified) per hour.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for Part Time Variable Hours Tutor to deliver across our Level 2 and Level 3 Esports provision. This role will be ideal if you relish the challenge of working with a wide and diverse range of students, on full-time study programmes. The post would suit an appropriately qualified person with experience in Esports and will involve leading aspects of this provision. You will be required to deliver units across both qualifications and endeavour to extend and widen the provision.

About the Person
The ideal candidate will be an innovative forward-thinking teacher, who is highly motivated to improve the chances of young people. Candidates will have extensive knowledge of Esports and have relevant experience of working in this sector. You will be expected to create effective and stimulating learning opportunities for all students through high-quality teaching, learning and assessment. The position requires enthusiasm and most importantly a commitment to the student journey. A recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or CertEd, is preferred but not essential.
