Window Fitters Labourer Required – Immediate Start
We are a reputable, family-run window company with over 35 years of experience in the industry. We specialise in the installation of windows, doors, conservatories, porches and warm-roof systems.
Due to our continued workload, we are currently looking for a Window Fitters Labourer to join our installation team for an immediate start.
Job Description
The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced window fitters, helping with the installation of windows, doors, conservatories and associated building works.
Duties will include:
- Assisting fitters with window and door installations
- Carrying and loading windows, doors and materials
- Removing old windows and doors
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Helping with preparation and making good
- Loading and unloading company vehicles
- General labouring duties
- Assisting with conservatories, porches and warm-roof installations
- Ensuring customers' homes and properties are treated with care and respect
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience within the window, building or construction industry would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right person.
You must:
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be hardworking and willing to learn
- Be physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Be able to work well as part of a team
- Have good time-management skills
- Work in a clean, tidy and respectful manner
- Be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Be willing to work Monday to Friday with some Saturdays when required
A full UK driving licence would be an advantage.
Experience in basic carpentry, plastering, rendering or general building work would also be beneficial.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
