About the Role
We are looking for reliable, compassionate and professional Weekend Homecare Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Salisbury, Wilton and surrounding areas.
This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys supporting others to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. You will provide person-centred support based on each client's individual needs and preferences.
Responsibilities
- Providing personal support in a respectful and dignified manner
- Supporting clients with their daily routines
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Preparing meals, snacks and drinks
- Supporting with medication where required
- Supporting clients to maintain their independence
- Assisting with shopping, appointments and community activities
- Completing light household tasks
- Providing reassurance and promoting wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Reporting any changes or concerns appropriately
What We're Looking For
- A caring, patient and dependable approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliability and professionalism
- Ability to work independently
- Weekend availability
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Previous care experience is desirable, although applications from people with the right values and attitude are welcomed
