HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver Required – Pump Services & Drainage
Pyramid Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established pump services company based in Bagshot. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver to join a growing team specialising in drainage and waste management services.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be operating a vacuum tanker, providing essential services to commercial and domestic customers across the region.
Duties will include:
- Operating a Class 2 vacuum tanker safely and professionally.
- Emptying and cleaning septic tanks, cesspits and sewage systems.
- Clearing drains and drainage systems.
- Emptying and cleaning grease traps.
- Carrying out scheduled and emergency pump service work.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Providing excellent customer service whilst working on client sites.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous tanker, drainage, waste, or pump service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
