ELECTRICAL PANEL BUILDER AND PRODUCTION STAFF
ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Electrical Panel Builder and as part of our Production staff, you will play a vital role in assembling specialist Low Voltage Switchgear, Distribution Boards, and Control Panels from component level to final assembly. The focus of this role is to ensure efficient, effective, and customer-focused manufacturing of these electrical components within the Production Team. This role demands precision, a commitment to quality, and strict adherence to safety protocols to contribute to the successful and efficient assembly of electrical components. Your dedication will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of top-notch products to our valued customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ASSEMBLE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
· Assemble Low Voltage Switchgear, Distribution Boards, and Control Panels based on customer specifications and within designated deadlines.
· Interpret and work from schematic drawings, ensuring accurate installation of copper busbars as required.
· Complete panel layouts and wiring in accordance with project requirements.
PRODUCT QUALITY AND CONTINUITY
· Maintain a commitment to high standards of product continuity and quality.
· Work with precision, referencing mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to achieve accurate assembly.
SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
· Adhere rigorously to Health and Safety legislation and fully comply with company policies and procedures.
· Execute tasks in a manner that prioritizes safety, fostering a secure manufacturing environment.
DETAILED ASSEMBLY PROCESS
· Assemble panels meticulously from component level through to final assembly as specified in schematic drawings.
· Install copper busbars, meticulously complete panel layouts, and conduct wiring activities according to project requirements.
· Interpret, meticulously work from, and annotate schematic drawings during the assembly process.
MEETING CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS
· Ensure the assembled products meet customer requirements and are completed within specified deadlines.
· Uphold product continuity and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
TIMELY DELIVERY

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· A Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical Design Engineering or Engineering Technician, or equivalent relevant experience.
· Analytical and logical mindset for problem-solving.
· Good communication skills for liaising with staff and customers.
· Practical skills and attention to detail.
· Organisational skills to plan and coordinate resources.
· Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Strong commitment, enthusiasm, and helpfulness.
· Flexible approach to a varied workload and willingness to work as part of a team.

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
