We are looking for reliable, caring and experienced Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers who are interested in part-time or flexible agency shifts in Nottingham and surrounding areas.
We currently have a good number of day, night and weekend shifts available. This role is suitable for candidates who are looking for additional hours, flexible work or agency shifts based on their availability.
Candidates who are flexible with their working hours and able to travel to different care settings will have access to more shift opportunities.
Applicants with a valid UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle are preferred, although this is not essential for every shift.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to service users.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Support service users with daily living activities.
- Promote independence, dignity and choice.
- Assist with meals, fluids and general wellbeing.
- Support with mobility and moving and handling where required.
- Follow care plans, risk assessments and workplace policies.
- Report any concerns, changes or safeguarding issues to senior staff or management.
- Maintain accurate care records where required.
- Communicate professionally with service users, families and colleagues.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Follow safe working practices and company procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care or support work is preferred.
- A caring, patient and respectful attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and good timekeeping.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights and weekends.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to travel to different care settings.
- Ability to work safely and professionally in different care environments.
