Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling specials and beverages to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation, serving, and handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, dining space, and workstations throughout your shift
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns professionally, ensuring satisfaction and positive interactions
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic culinary practices is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, tips, and order calculations
- Experience with upselling menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue potential
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £12.71-£17.30 per hour
