We’re looking for a sharp, observant, and approachable Security Officer to join our retail team. - Being a Presence: Patrolling the shop floor to deter theft and provide a sense of security for customers and staff.
- Customer Service: Greeting shoppers and assisting with general enquiries—you’re often the first face people see!
- Incident Response: Handling suspicious activity or shoplifting incidents professionally and according to company policy.
- Monitoring: Using CCTV systems and alarm monitoring to keep an eye on high-value areas.
- Reporting: Keeping accurate logs of any incidents or security breaches.
What we’re looking for:
- Licensing: A valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) is essential.
- Communication: Great verbal skills—you can de-escalate situations with a calm, firm, and polite manner.
- Reliability: Punctual and professional, with a keen eye for detail.
- Flexibility: Comfortable working a part-time rota that includes weekends and late shifts.
