Oranmore House is an award-winning hospitality destination renowned for exceptional dining, luxury accommodation, weddings and private events. We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead our front-facing operations while supporting the continued growth of the business.
The Role
This is a key leadership role responsible for the day-to-day management of the restaurant, bar, accommodation and office administration.
Working closely with the owners, you will help bring their vision to life by leading the team, implementing effective structures and processes, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across every aspect of the business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading people, improving operations and driving high standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and develop the front of house, accommodation and administration teams.
* Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, bar, accommodation and guest services.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain consistently high standards.
* Implement and continuously improve operational processes and procedures.
* Manage reservations, accommodation operations and guest communications.
* Prepare staff rotas, oversee recruitment, training and performance management.
* Ensure effective communication between front of house, kitchen and housekeeping teams.
* Resolve customer feedback professionally and proactively.
* Support stock control, supplier management and day-to-day administration.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene and licensing requirements.
* Work closely with the owners to support business growth and deliver the long-term vision for Oranmore House.
About You
* Minimum 3–5 years’ hospitality management experience.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience implementing systems and improving operational processes.
* Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
* Passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality.
* Experience managing accommodation is desirable.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time, permanent position. The standard working pattern is expected to be 5 days over 7; however, this can be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate to support both the needs of the business and a healthy work-life balance.
Flexibility is essential and will include evenings, weekends and public holidays where required.

Pay: £25,420.00-£41,024.14 per year
