The role
Healthy Investment is looking to recruit a Team Leader for their Policy Administration department, based at their offices in Bury, Greater Manchester.
The role includes managing and motivating a small team of policy administrators, as well as dealing directly with members and financial advisers by telephone, email, webchat and post. You’ll conduct appraisals, one to ones and quality checks.
You and the team will be dealing with incoming emails and post, handling calls with members, updating member’s records on our CRM system, processing new policies and a wide range of policy administration activities, including calculating investment valuations for members and processing withdrawals.
A high level of verbal and written communication skills are required for this fast moving and enjoyable role.
As Team Leader and a member of the senior management team, you’ll play a significant role in driving up standards and improving processes both in the team and across the organisation.
About you
The right candidate will have experience of working in a financial services or regulated industry and of managing a small team or office. They will have a good understanding of Consumer Duty and what it means to provide policyholders with good service.
They will already hold the Chartered Institute of Insurance’s CF1 – Regulation and Ethics, FA1 Life Office Administration and FA5 Certificate in ISA Administration, or be committed to achieving them within six months of starting.
As well as a minimum of 5 GSCEs at level 4 or above, including Maths and English, it’s desirable but not essential that a higher-level qualification will be held. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including excel is essential.
