Company Description
Our client is a specialist reinforced concrete contractor with extensive experience delivering complex RC Frame, high-rise and structural concrete projects across the UK and Ireland.
They are delivering a major RC Frame project in Glasgow and is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the project through to successful completion.
Role Description
The Project Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a major reinforced concrete frame project in Glasgow, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Working closely with the senior management and site teams, the Project Manager will oversee RC Frame, and associated subcontractor activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project through to completion.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors and supply chain.
- Oversee RC Frame, groundworks and structural concrete activities.
- Manage programme, resources, costs and project performance.
- Ensure high standards of health & safety and quality.
- Coordinate with the client, main contractor, consultants and design team.
- Identify and resolve technical, programme and commercial issues.
- Drive productivity and ensure key project milestones are achieved.
Qualifications
- Proven Project Management experience on major RC Frame or concrete projects.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction and sequencing.
- High-rise, slipform/jumpform or complex structural experience advantageous.
- Strong commercial and programme management skills.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Relevant construction or engineering qualification.
- CSCS and relevant management qualifications.
- Experience with a specialist RC Frame or groundworks contractor preferred.
- Based in or able to commute to Glasgow.
