Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and clear tutoring sessions focused on A Level Chemistry curriculum topics, including atomic structure, chemical bonding, energetics, kinetics, and organic chemistry.
- Assess students’ current understanding and tailor lessons to meet their specific needs and learning styles.
- Develop customized lesson plans and practice exercises that reinforce key concepts and prepare students for exams.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their problem-solving skills and build confidence in their abilities.
- Support students with exam techniques, time management strategies, and effective study habits.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, session plans, and areas requiring additional focus.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching A Level Chemistry or equivalent advanced chemistry courses.
- Strong knowledge of the A Level Chemistry syllabus and examination requirements.
- Experience working with children or young adults, including those with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Passion for education and helping students succeed academically.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Chemistry or related field are preferred but not mandatory if extensive tutoring experience is demonstrated.
