Job Summary: The Cleaning Operations Assistant is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the cleaning staff to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This role involves supervising staff, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Coordination:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the cleaning team.
- Schedule and assign specific duties to cleaning staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide training as needed.
- Quality Control:
- Perform regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleaning standards are met.
- Address any deficiencies or areas requiring improvement promptly.
- Maintain a log of inspections and actions taken.
- Health and Safety:
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Train staff on proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
- Inventory and Supplies:
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Order supplies as needed to ensure continuous operations.
- Maintain records of supplies used and costs incurred.
- Checkout Inspection and Reporting:
- Conduct detailed inspections of properties at the end of each tenancy or guest checkout.
- Document the condition of the property, including any damages or required repairs.
- Take photographs and prepare comprehensive inspection reports on Safety Culture App.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit reports on cleaning activities, staff performance, and issues encountered.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, training, and disciplinary actions.
- Customer Service:
- Respond to client inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or facilities management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in cleaning or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and inventory management.
- Spanish or Portuguese speaker is essential
Pay: £1,800.00 per month
