Durr Technik is a successful and well-established manufacturing business based near Bath. We are looking for a Production Technician to join our growing production team.
The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for assembling compressors, stations, sub-assemblies and related products to meet customer orders.
You will work from technical drawings, schematics and assembly instructions while maintaining the high-quality standards our customers expect.
Full training and support will be provided by our Design Engineers and Production Management team.
Key Responsibilities
· Assemble products and sub-assemblies to specification with manuals supporting you along your way.
· Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
· Ensure products meet quality standards.
· Support efficient production and on-time customer deliveries.
· Provide holiday cover for warehouse and stores personnel when required.
· Report health and safety concerns, near misses and unsafe practices.
· Continuously learn and contribute to process improvements.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
· Has experience in mechanical or electrical assembly (preferred).
· Has a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
· Able to undertake a physically active role involving regular manual handling and lifting of components and equipment.
· Comfortable working on your feet for a significant proportion of the working day.
· Can work from engineering drawings.
· Enjoys practical, hands-on work.
· Works well as part of a team.
· Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay: £28,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
