Bookkeeping Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for general bookkeeping and accounts preparation for a variety of clients, working closely with the wider team to ensure high standards of accuracy, compliance, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Purchase Ledger / Sales Ledger (AP/AR)
· Credit card and petty cash processing
· Payment runs
· Bank reconciliations
· Management of the fixed asset register
· Monthly and quarterly billing for rents and utilities
· Day-to-day management of bank accounts and cash-flow forecasting
· Loading budgets and coding supplier invoices
· Preparing VAT returns, including partial exemption VAT calculations
· Producing monthly Profit & Loss reports
· Preparing year-end accounts and posting cleardown journals
· Processing monthly payroll from start to finish, including:
o Adding new starters
o Amending tax codes
o Pension contributions
o Student loans
o P11Ds

Due to maternity cover and retirement, we are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our fast-growing team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to play a key role in supporting our clients and contributing to the ongoing success of the business.
About You
You will be a confident and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in bookkeeping and accounts. You will also demonstrate:
· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
· Proven bookkeeping experience (ideally within a farming or land management environment)
· AAT qualification or demonstrable experience in a similar role
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Experience with KeyPrime Accounts (advantageous but not essential)
· A willingness to learn, develop, and grow with an ambitious business
