Following a successful probation period, we would be open to reviewing the salary, particularly as the preschool programme and additional courses become embedded and we can see the impact of the role across the nursery.
Role overview
The role will involve leading the preschool room and supporting the quality of teaching, learning and school readiness across the setting. You will help develop a strong preschool programme that supports children with early literacy, maths, communication, confidence, independence, emotional development and preparation for school.
You will also support the wider team with planning, learning intentions, observations, next steps and creating a stimulating environment where children are able to make good progress.
As part of our wider plans, you will also be involved in developing and delivering additional learning courses through our parent and child support offer. This may include school readiness sessions, small group learning, confidence-building sessions, life skills, parent workshops and tailored support for children who may need extra help.
