Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Services / Aftersales Advisor to join our team based in either our Hyde branch or our Astley office. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and product knowledge. This is an extremely varied role that covers customer service and some administration duties using our industry based systems and Microsoft Office products. Previous customer service work especially via the telephone is essential and experience in the Motor Trade or finance industry would be helpful.
The position will require you to be computer literate, and be able to work accurately and as part of a team. The office is busy and the ability to manage multiple different tasks will also be required. Good telephony and interpersonal skills will also be required as the job will involve interacting with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. The job is predominantly Monday to Friday but as the business is in retail some occasional Saturday working may be required.

Duties
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via phone, email, or in person.
- Assist customers with aftersales services, including scheduling maintenance or repairs and providing technical advice.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback to ensure seamless service continuity.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably within the automotive or mechanical sectors.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively..
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with vehicle or machinery components is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with diverse customer groups.
