Part-Time Kitchen Assistant / Cook
Location: The Kissin Crust
We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Part-Time Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our busy team.
Hours:
● Wednesday: 11:00am – 4:00pm
● Thursday & Friday: 6:30am – 2:30pm
● Additional availability: Occasional Saturday mornings, 6:30am – 10:30am
Key Responsibilities:
● Baking fresh scones for the day
● Preparing and cooking breakfast items
● Setting up and stocking the food counters before opening
● Preparing salads, soups, and lunch items
● Assisting with general kitchen duties while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
● Working efficiently as part of a friendly team in a fast-paced environment
Candidate Requirements:
● Reliable, punctual, and dependable
● Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
● Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
● Strong organisational skills and a good understanding of food hygiene practices
● Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
