Senior Vehicle Technician Join an Established Independent Workshop
We're looking for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join our busy, well-equipped independent workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles.

The Role
As a Senior Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and fault-finding across a wide range of vehicle makes and models. You'll work to the highest standards while supporting the workshop team and helping maintain our excellent reputation for customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer and DVSA standards
- Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify faults efficiently
- Inspect vehicles and advise on any additional work required
- Complete accurate job records and paperwork
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Deliver work of the highest quality with excellent attention to detail
About You
You'll be an experienced technician who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in producing quality work.
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with electrical and electronic vehicle systems
- Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop software
- Experience working across multiple vehicle makes and models
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
- Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles
